The Minnesota Nail-Biter

Just a quick thought on the vote re-count in Minnesota. I wrote a few weeks ago how the Norm Coleman campaign was quoting anti-Franken Democrats to sway voters against the Comedian and aspiring Senator. The Dems quoted were offended by some of Franken's satirical writing, specifically, a piece he penned in Playboy called Porn-O-Rama. Here was my take:
It was inevitable that Porn-O-Rama would be a problem for Franken in this Senate campaign (I liked writing that sentence). What was not inevitable was a group of Democratic prudes supplying fodder to the National Republican Senatorial Committee. It's just another reminder that sometimes the moralists of the left can be about as bad as your average bible thumper. I don't intend this to be a slam on feminists in general, just those few who would rather get indignant about a Playboy article than see a Democratic victory in Minnesota.
With the difference between the two candidates now down to 221 votes, I may have been more on the mark than I could have imagined. If Franken really does lose by just a handful of votes, we will have these anti-Playboy busy-bodies to thank for another 6 years of Norm Coleman.

Might blow my chances for ever being taken seriously by you guys, but, for my money, this is the best person that the frozen tundra of MN will ever see in office: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Ventura
